Here at Griswold Law, we’re always looking for new voices to join and contribute to our team. If your focus lies in real estate disputes, business disputes, or receivership law, explore our open positions below to see if we're the right fit for you.
Who We Are:
Griswold Law and its professionals serve exclusively as Court-appointed receivers and referees in a variety of legal scenarios, including health & safety receiverships, tenant habitability receiverships, post-judgment receiverships, business dispute receiverships, cannabis receiverships, rents/profits receiverships, and partition actions. We embrace a team-centric environment and approach to support one another in our respective roles, while also remaining flexible and adaptable to take on different roles as the project may require. Our team possesses a high level of integrity and keeps a level head during high pressure or potentially volatile situations without losing sight of the end goal.
Griswold Law is seeking a Senior Paralegal to assist with our growing receivership practice. This is an opportunity to join a boutique law firm operating in the dynamic area of receivership law.
The responsibilities of this position will vary day-to-day from standard paralegal duties (such as filing and service in Courts across the state of California, drafting court documents and correspondence) to specific receivership tasks (such as preparing oaths and bonds and monthly receivership reports). The Senior Paralegal will also lead and manage the team’s junior paralegals and legal assistants. The Senior Paralegal will work closely with the Staff Receivers and Operations Team to timely execute the day-to-day tasks for each receivership project.
The Senior Paralegal will receive substantial training that will be customized to learn the ins and outs of receiverships, while applying their existing skills as a paralegal. A successful candidate will have general civil litigation experience, supervisory experience, as well as an ambitious desire to participate in the ongoing growth of our team.
